Cemlyn Bay on Anglesey is possibly the best place in the UK to get close to these terns in late July and early August , when they are preparing for their long return migration.

The first time we visited the mountain lakes at the top of Fulufjllet National Park were were astonished to see coastal species like Arctic terns and Common scoters.
