Upon leaving Melbourne aboard our cruise ship, we travelled south across Port Phillip Bay to the South Channel at the bottom of the bay. The ship then travels in a westerly direction in the channel until it leaves Port Phillip Bay, through "The Rip", into Bass Strait.

The viewing platform at Muriwai is close but quite high so you are looking down on the gannets, not the best position to take a shot maybe but I think it helped with this image.
