Just look at the size difference and you'll get some idea of how brave Willie-wagtails can be. Think he must have had a nest or young in the vicinity for he came out onto the path to distract the Australian Ravens, and attempt to chase them off. Ever hopeful?
No sooner had I sat down to give my back a rest an Australian Raven landed on the rail. Guess he was hoping for some food LOL. He was out of luck though, as it was all in the car!!!! Trouble is, he really does have a bit of an evil eye, doesn't he?- delia todd

Bravery
We'd now got ourselves into a swampy area, rather than the open water of the lake. On the path in front of us were another two Ravens and a Willie-Wagtail who was trying to chase them off.
