Loads of Greylag in, they seem to be overtaking the Pinkfoot in numbers now, I think. Though that's just a feeling from my pictures; we didn't seem to see too many Greylag at one time.

... dunno! This youngster was all on his own, there were no adults anywhere near him.
He was way over the far side of the loch, so this is quite a heavy crop.
Although we do have some Greylag resident in Scotland obviously, I think these were likely to be new winter arrivals.... hard to tell though, isn't it.
I always think these guys look so ungainly when they come in to land LOL
This just gives a little feeling of the steepness of the hillside down to the river.
A little further down the road there was quite a big landslide and the road was closed for a long time, first while they thought about it, then .... well it took a few years till it was re-opened!!!
A narrow strip of bog bean was just covered with ducks and geese.
Mostly Greylag and Mallards, though no doubt there's some others hiding in this picture.
This is the road running alongside the Den of Airlie.
The den is quite a deep gorge (I'll show you another picture looking down at it later). At the top end of it are waterfalls, known as the Reekie Linn (reekie is Scottish for smoke). When the river Isla is in spate the spray looks like smoke...
