I've never been so close to an Avocet. The hides at RSPB Marshside are brilliant.

Three from Norfolk for yall today, cant wait to get back there on the boat on the Broads on March 18th. Before that we have a family trip to Devon coming up next week, so hopefully get some birding in there.

Early start for me this morning, so its post and run. Were off to Lakenheath today, as we have a family funeral to attend on Friday. Dont know if I will get out for a spot of birding while we are there, but Im taking me rig with me just in case. See yall later!!!
