Dull weather again this weekend - here are 2 more pictures from late spring. I might post one of my very high ISO Goldfinch images next time.

Suddenly photographing Swallows felt not just possible but almost easy. I hope I get to experience that feeling again some time.

Off for a long walk in the sunshine today at a favourite spot for Ospreys and Marsh Harriers.

There as another but it was a little too far away to get both in the same frame. :-) They were as tolerant as the Arctic Tern.

Not the best of pictures technically but this is not something I've seen previously. These "vapour trails" or whatever they are were present through the entire series. All suggestions welcome!

They've all flown off now. Off to Scotland for a short visit on Sunday so last post for a few days tomorrow.

We usualy see them while flying therefore I was happy to be able taking a photo with the bird on the ground. Moreover the Swallow was colecting, I think, nest material.

I'm off to Scotland tomorrow for a week's holiday as its my dad's 90th birthday on Saturday. Might manage some early posts tomorrow but probably not. I'll take my laptop with me but I'm not sure about access to the Internet so possibly no new posts for a little over a week.

Easily my best effort so far. It was a great place photograph them, soaring from the cliff-top. This was the only keeper though.
