Typically for me, the only decent picture for focus and they're being camera shy!
I changed the ev to +0.3 - is that the sort of thing I should be looking to do with this type of shot?
Barn swallow and Pied wagtail, each using the same puddle for different purposes, though in similar poses. Swallow was gathering mud and wagtail was bathing. Lots of fun to watch |=)| but impossible to focus on both at once :S

I wont be on BF much again today, me poor old Dad lost his fight against cancer yesterday. Lots of family around at the moment helping to comfort me poor old Mum. She will be totally lost, as they had been married for just over 65 years.
Stopped off at a great place in Virginia on our journey from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. Lots of birds, several of these skimming over the water, and this un decided to take a break on the rails of a moored up boat.
Are not these little birds just incredible?.All the way from Africa,here to Haverigg,each year,to exactly the same nesting areas,amazing for such small birds.
