This bird, in dense shrubbery at edge of river was very difficult to photograph from our unstable boat. Hence the less than perfect view of the bird, and mediocre photographic quality, but I was happy to get any photograph of this species.

Just about to snap the male - in perfect focus of course - when the female appeared and completely distracted me. Very pleased to witness this food passing behaviour even though the capture is a little out of focus.
A common bird around the grounds of Asa Wright which was much less shy in the early mornings -when the light was too poor for photography. This is a flash image of a male guzzling berries; his missus was nearby as usual.
