Now apparently the worlds largest northern Gannet colony with 150,000 birds. An increase of 24% since 2009. Gannets from the Bass Rock Scotland.

This island is about 1 Mile out in the sea, in the Firth of Forth. The white point are mostly Northern gannets - about 80'000 birds. It's the biggest colony in the world. This Picture was taken Tantallon Castle out in the sea. The green area in the front is a barley field.
