I think this is a Baya Weaver. I am not sure because of a slight variation in the brownish black color at the back of the neck on this one instead of the yellow color as per field guide book on birds.
Like most Ploceus weavers male Baya weavers build a basic nest which they then display to visiting females. If a female likes the look of the nest and its male she will mate with the proud builder before lining the nest herself and laying.
