Bearded Tit

Last shot for a while of the BTs at Leighton Moss. They have really been superb to watch as anyone will confirm who has been there.

Creeping up to the seed.

The Bearded Tits have been showing well at Leighton Moss giving great displays. A real highlight of this autumn. Another shot but with the DSLR this time.

These lovely little birds have been giving many Lancashire and North West Birders a great deal of pleasure with their daily antics on the grit trays. It appears to have been a very good year for them at Leighton Moss.

A trip to Suffolk provided the opportunity to capture this image. Sadly the light was not what I would have liked but not too bad I suppose.

Attracted by the grit trays at Leighton Moss RSPB this morning, several of these bearded tits were waiting in the low scrub among the reed beds.
