In summertime the BHG looksa little different, then they have a dark brown hood, that often looks black. This one was not very shy, so I had a good opportunity to capture several shots!

This Black Headed Gull is trampling on the mud to force worms to creep out. The same behaviour is also often seen on grass-fields.
