Two large Black Eagles hovering in the sky above the road while I was exiting Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort into main road in Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo.
I'm struggling with my new lens, mainly because I've been unable to take it out for the last 6 weeks due to poor watcher/work. Managed yesterday, but the high winds added another factor I'd not considered to a lens this size. Still, pretty happy with this shot.
I took this a few weeks ago when I was at Land's End. While I was hoping to see Peregrines, this female Kestrel was still a lovely sight, flying relatively close to me as it was hunting (unsuccessfully I might add) for food.
A Ruppell's Long Tailed Starling (Lamprotornis purpuroptera) caught in flight while approaching. His dark feathers and its intimidating shape and eyes let me think to one of these worrying Hitchcock Birds or to the Raven from the Edgar Allan Poe's short story (even if Starling is not related to...

Wood Shrike in deep branches of tree. found this first time.. Its a record shot so not much clear and crips cuz of less light availibility in branches..
