    Bittern - On Monday I went to the Somerset levels. It was a bittern day as I have never seen so many flying around. This shot is a group of six. Distant I know but an amazing sight.

    I always hear clicking when I cross this channel.

    Had to wait awhile but the Bittern finally showed crossing the channel at a local patch.The clicking noise from cameras was quite deafening.

    Not a great shot but a great bird.I was pleased just to see one although it was a long way off.
