    Both eyes on this bird contained this white over the pupils. God knows how it was able the see? Yet it seem to be doing not to badly.

    This young bird was less shy than its parent who watched from a safe distance. This is my first effort with raw I can already see some advantages although the workflow is longer. I am pretty sure that will become more streamlined with practise.

    This is a difficult bird to make an image of as it runs into the mangroves when it sees you. This morning it was making calls to its mate and must have been preoccupied as it allowed me to get quite close.
