black kites

So the Kite enlisted the help of another Kite. Now there are two Kites harassing the Eagle, but the Eagle has simply made a circle upwards on the thermal and is now headed back towards the hills and the fire beyond.

They were perched high up in a coconut tree on the bank of a lake. I believe these are sub-species, Lineatus. Rare to find them in pair like this.
