On my last morning on Lesvos, I saw a group of 20 Black Storks in the moat at Kalloni Saltpans. I could watch them for about half an hour. When the Greek went to work, the group flew off. It was a morning I will never forget.
This Black Stork was seen late evening dancing and stamping in shallow water on Lesvos; it was clearly trying to disturb food items, but didn't seem too successful and it's efforts became quite frantic.
