black-tailed godwit

We do not see many of these where I live,so this is a very fortunate chance shot.I am not certain if it is a Black - Tailed Godwit so please correct me if I am wrong.

Another first seeing these guys today, 14 in total, and the best of a bunch of bad snaps from far away but at least you can see why they're called black tailed.

Another first 2 in a week (must get out more) only managed 8hrs today in Gorgeous weather cheers now.

Had a very enjoyable day at Marshside on Bank Holiday Monday with Paul. Getting one of these in flight was the highlight of the day for me.

I've been going through old pics, as I haven't been out much lately, I haven't been feeling up to much for the past week or so. You will have to make do with whatever I come across for a while, so I will kick off with this Goddy.
