Some of the snow has melted but there's still quite a lot left. The only snow in this picture is on the Blackbird's claws.

Haven't been posting so much lately, partly due to work and partly due to a dwindling number of pictures to post. I've been playing with my new 7D MkII lately though and have now amassed a few pictures that I'm fairly happy with. The camera itself is great but the photographer still requires...

Actually I think the first one was full frame but I cropped a bit off the left side of this one to improve the composition.

A least we got some sunshine during the weekend. Dull and wet again today.

... not in the dead of night though.

We seen have him a couple of times in the marsh in the woods while we were photographing frogs. He looks a bit splodgy due to the irregular white patches but has white and yellow eye-rings on both sides to provide a bit of symmetry.

Snow's all gone now but at least it's not raining at the moment and we've been promised sun on Sunday.
