Back at Kinnordy for the end of March and there's loads of Oystercatchers around on the bog bean.
They don't, however, seem to want to have the gull with them - doesn't he look lonely.
got the wife out on a rear trip for her to Cleethorpes not that far by bus got a few images of geese etc to put on the site over the next week. will catch up later.we are on melt down mode.
trying too land on the post at the bottom of the garden which had a bar going through the post never made the landing but fun to see.
(no sign of the white rumped munia for two days )
i wish i could define the type of gulls like you guys. iam totally useless. thanks for telling me, herons and mallards are my limitations. cheers graham
One more of the blackheaded gull at cleethorpes while out with the wife for the walk and to get her out again after her breakdown but we are getting there.
We went this morning to Lodmoor RSPB so a friend of mine could try for his 3rd time to see the Stilt Sandpiper alas it didn't show. But the 'ordinary' Gull was so beautifully lite I just had to share this bird with you.
