Alpine Accentor. Blakeney Point, North Norfolk

This stunning alpine accentor was well worth to walk to Blakeney point yesterday. Due to inadequate shoes and some rather bad foot pain, I decided to walk the entire way back barefoot! Luckily for me there was just enough sand exposed. Although I did get a few confused looks from other birders...

    Icterine Warbler, Plantation, Blakeney Point

Headed to Norfolk today as there were a few bits around. Dipped on the UK lifer, but was rewarded for a 7 mile hike on shingle out to Blakeney Point with cracking views of this icterine warbler.

Common seals and Sandwich terns Blakeney Point Norfolk

Took this one while on my annual birthday Temple's boat trip out to Blakeney point. As the small boat bobbed about when we approached the seal colony, I found it hard to focus on anything so this was somewhat of a surprise. Thank you Birdforum for the birthday wishes.
