My second lifer of the day soon followed. Out on the water was a pretty Blue-billed Duck (with a little party of Hoary-headed Grebes).

This little Blue-billed Duck is a real sweetie. Later on I'll post some more of her, but this is my favourite. The upload software does some weird stuff by way of resizing because of the odd shape of the crop (the 885 x 299 original is marginally sharper) but it seems to look OK just the same...
