Another FOY. also had Yellow Warbler and Yellow-rumped Warbler but unfortunately no good photos of those. The migration is starting here at last so we are starting to see some of our favorite old friends again.

One more of the gnatcatcher, then I continued up the trail.

I was hearing a lot of birds up on Mt St Helena - mostly wrentits, like a whole hailstorm of ping-pong balls "bdink, bdink, bdink, binkbinkbinkbinkbink" - but of course, wrentits are heard and not seen. Then I saw a tiny little grey something fly across the trail ahead of me. I stopped...

This little fellow was very inquisitive today as I visited one my regular areas for the first time since getting back from Virtinia trip.

These little guys flit around so fast, I'm surprised I got this one - so I had to share!
