    My previous few postings were taken at about the optimal distance for digiscoping with the 30x eyepiece (8 meters) and today's postings were taken towards the long end for detail (about 40 meters). This fruiting palm is attracting lot's of birds in the late afternoon in one of our local parks...

    today I had the scope and although I had trouble getting the tail in I think I preferred the photos I got even though with the poor light I was shooting at around 1/30 sec at 100iso.
