We had a tremendous amount of snow last weekend. Most of it's gone now and today it was raining. I took a great many pictures of birds in the trees near the feeders. There was an ridiculous amount of snow heaped on the branches. I doubt if the birds were very happy about it but at least they had...
I was a bit doubtful about this Blue tit image as it was very overexposed. Luckily none of the whites were blown and I'm very glad I decided in the end to give it a chance.
I finally got round to buying a Canon 100-400mm II and I'm delighted with it. We're off to stay near a nature reserve in Croatia on Thursday but I'll try to post again before then. There are brown bears, wolves, lynx etc and many species of birds there.
... for spring perhaps?
Plus degrees and the snow and ice is gradually disappearing. But who knows whether the winter is really over. Off on our annual Easter holiday to the far south of Sweden on Thursday morning. We're keeping the (non-studded) winter tyres on the car for once.
