Christmas birds - Blue Tit
I've finally reached the end of my 2023 posts. Here are three who visited my feeders (including extra sheaves of oats and home-made fatballs and stuffed coconuts) on Christmas Eve. There were a few other species visiting as well through the winter - the occasional Willow Tit, some Bullfinches...- Doc Duck

Blue Tit, Cyanistes Caeruleus
A common bird, easy to ignore, but none the less rather lovely. I confess to putting out a little seed in the woods. Blue tit's immediately take their prize onto a branch where they set about consuming it, bit by bit.- Mick Sway

Eurasian Blue Tit

Blue tit nestling out of box, parents not seen for 5 hours.
Hi, I have a couple bird boxes around my house and one has had some blue tits nesting in it. They have already had one successful batch fledge but today I discovered a nestling on the floor. Blue Tits Territorial Fight
These two blue tits landed no more than 5 feet from me in January, fighting over territory, I imagine. They were quite oblivious to my presence, the fight lasted about 2 minutes & was absolutely vicious!- AliCat
