The delicate layers of bluish hues of this bird are simply amazing.
Exposure without fill flash would not have brought the details out.
If the flash used was too strong it would be a washout. This is my wife's shot of this bird.

This is a close-up up taken with the Olympus 7070wz on the scope. Using the Swarovski Telescope Eyepiece Adapter behaves like a close-up adapter and reduces the closest focusing distance to about 15 feet. You also lose infinity focus though.
