This Great Blue Heron was practicing some dance steps yesterday at Bolsa Chica. There was also a Reddish Egret prancing around and flapping its wings!

I was out at Floyd Lamb Park and a Great Blue Heron was trying to pull something out of the ground and it turned out to be this gopher or mole that became his breakfast.

A Wonderful Lorrie feeding on my favourite tree in our garden this tree is around 20 years old it flowers a fair bit specially if we get good rain the lorries love the flowers nectar I love their colours sound and visits.

A dark morph, 'blue' Northern Fulmar skimming the calm waters of a fjord. Interesting that it seems it's the vortex off the wing tip creating the water disturbance and not the feather actually touching the water.
