....a day can make, 40 degrees and raining. Same couple.

things are looking up. Nice warm sunny day.....tomorrow's post not the same. This shot was at about 90 feet and about 50% crop.

It was a bit of a messy day and this one gave me a look to say, "so you like it out of the rain, huh, while I have to sit out here".

......hate rainy days.

This Bluebird while posing for me cauffed up a seed/pit and expelled it as I shot his frontal view. I have seen these bluebirds do this on many occations.

Even while under water this bluebird kept it's eye on me!

The three juvies from the last brood are hanging around the feeders and the nesting box. Wonder if mom and pop are figuring on a 3rd brood?

This Female Bluebird has restarted her nest again!

A shot from earlier this year. Got back from SC.....not much subject matter for photos. Got some at the beach, gulls and pelicans.....had to get flight shots no where for them to land with all the people. Got back home and got "computer lazy" for a few days. Got over that now so here I am.

No contest between Bluebird and an earth worm.

A first for me. Migrated through Vancouver earlier and are now in the Okanagan.

Looking out my window, I caught a flash of blue for days. It took several days more to be able to catch that flash of blue on film and this was the result: A male Western bluebird! Ya gotta love bluebirds no matter WHO you are! ;o)

Caught this guy just after a rain yesterday. Don't think he is very happy.

This bluebird was very cooperative, landing in the parking lot of Powder Valley and then flying up to eye-level perches. I'm looking forward to getting out for some bird photography this weekend, though it might be rainy.
