    well guys looks like the bluetits are going to use my nestbox.they have used it before and fledged 5 young but when my sparrowhawk appeared last year they never used it.my fingers are crossed along with everything else i can cross for these little beauties.

    This guy was the victor but only this one time. Every time after this the blackcap was dominant.

    taken at loch winnoch near glasgow.this is an rspb nature reserve but were i took this is screened off with feeders and little slots for you to see threw not ideal for photos though as the birds still see you and in a dark wooded area but gave me the opportunity to practise my camera and birding...

    sleety snow today very cold.birds are in and out feeding all day,including another adult male sparrowhawk,never seen him feed though in my garden.he saw me at the window and flew off and seconds later this little bluetit was sitting in the same place with this peanut.

    The string that was holding a shrub under control, was taken apart by this bluetit.. He worked hard filling the nearby nest box. Took too many snaps of this chap but not great photos. Too dull an evening and too far away.
