    The string that was holding a shrub under control, was taken apart by this bluetit.. He worked hard filling the nearby nest box. Took too many snaps of this chap but not great photos. Too dull an evening and too far away.

    He is a little gem.When the weather was very cold last week,there were around a dozen of these guys in the reserve feeding from the fat balls.

    Yes the sun shone all afternoon,and this little chappie showed off his beautiful bright plumage.All I have done to this shot is a crop and resize,no sharpening,etc,so now I am not sure as to whether or not to keep this lens as opposed to the 400(in the repair shop).
