I don't think I've seen Bramblings in my garden before. I had one or two visiting early in the Fall, but not lately. They like to stay where there's plenty of dense cover, so now that the shrubs around my feeders are bare of leaves, my garden isn't so attractive for them. But they are beginning...

aka Brambling. Another regular at the botanical garden. Now where did this day go? Oh. Right. 17 km hike, then collapsed in the comfy chair after dinner. I'll have to catch up browsing in the morning. I need to get to bed.

If he hadn't been moving, I wouldn't have spotted this Brambling down among the fallen leaves.
