This Brambling has been coming to my Garden for around three weeks now.

First time I have ever seen a Brambling......beautiful bird and I am over the moon ;)

What cool markings these have!

Been a few of these birds over the winter here, this male was superb!

The only time one of the bramblings chose to break cover, and not feed within a caged area, was after the sun had gone behind a cloud. Typical!

I was looking around for Waxwings (yes, they finally crossed the Alps and arrived also here) when this Brambling landed just in front of me and posed nicely for a few pictures.

A pair of the birds been hanging out with the Chaffinchs here, just glad to see them as its been a year since my last view. Taken at a high iso.

I had two Bramblings visit the garden yesterday with four seen in the Garden this winter already it has been a good year for these birds, Must be the weather

Nice bird to find locally

Saw quite a Bramblings this morning - part of a huge flock of mostly Chaffinches with the odd Yellowhammer thrown in.
