Two overflying Dark-bellied Brent Geese - 1000+ around the estuary at this time of year

Sat in the fresh water pool at Titchwell, not sure what the middle one is looking at

These geese gathered together for me to take a nice group photo:-)

An 'old' photo dating back from February.Lots of Brent geese come and winter in our region ( southern Brittany coastline). They are so common that one is tempted to overlook them, which is a shame really as they are quite elegant and entertaining . At least, I think so.

I have spent some time looking at the image and a book and I think they are Brent Geese on the River Humber if they are its one more of my list catch up on comments later

More Brent geese in what is normaly a small park. The park is partially flooded.

On Canvey Island just of of the Estuary is this field and while I was there flocks of brent geese came in to feed of the grass.

Still hanging in there with the lurgy, three from our Norfolk trip again today.
