We got this neat bird while our May 2011 trip with a couple of clients from US... we were running all over the country filling gaps for their Colombia list... some of the nice birds we got are:
Andean Condor, Rufous-fronted Parakeet, Saffron-headed & Indigo-winged Parrots, Black-thighed...

Inmature hawk starting to have mature plumage, visibly on its chest and thighs (matures below are all white narrowly barred with silvery gray; and above are pale gray. There is no dark brown or buff)
