Large numbers seen this year

A beautiful butterfly. It looks like a "back to front" butterfly when flying. I think it may be a swallowtail butterfly. Can anyone tel me its name please?

I took this a couple of days ago just before the storm I hope it survived.

Taken last weekend at Sevenoaks Reserve on a short visit. I think it's a 'Large' but if anyone can confirm or otherwise it would be useful.

Taken by the moat....easier than getting a House Martin 'flyer'.

Noticed this glowing in the sun against the lush greenery by the castle moat.

Taken at Herstmonceux Castle. There was a pristine version with it but for some reason poor pics. Can't remember seeing one of these in my garden for some time .
