it's really difficult to take picture for this butterfly. It's really so sensitive and very easy to fly again.
I use panning shot to take this picture.
Less than 1/2" of boundless energy. They do hold still at sunup while they warm up for a day of flitting about within a foot of the ground among low-growing succulents.

This female was busy patrolling along a bridle way, looking for suitable situations to lay her eggs. Females look very plain from above, but from below....well judge for yourself, absolutely gorgeous!
