On the way to Ruhija, in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, this elusive and beautiful couple, "common at forest edge, in secondary growth, marshy areas and cultivation, from 800-2200m", according to "Stevenson and Fanshawe: Birds of East Africa".
I know it might look pretty rubbish but I'm amazed at the detail shown when I consider how distant this bird was. Stubbornly feeding way up in the trees on top of a hill it looked to be half a mile away!
