    This is a scarce migrant in California from breeding grounds in the High Arctic to wintering grounds in South America mostly in Fall. The vast majority are of juveniles, such as this which migrate later than adults.

    At Eagle Marsh, Fort Wayne, IN. Annual visitor. Very difficult, for me, in the conditions yesterday, to have my phone's shutter speed fast enough to get sharp pics, and still have enough light to turn out fair. Tons of the birds there right now.
