Arrived yesterday afternoon back in California. At first I thought my large suitcase had gone missing. Then at last I spotted it on the carousel. We took off for home and I took the luggage up to my room to change to hiking clothes. Yikes! This was not my suitcase! Somebody and I had got one...

This immigrant is already territorial ;) Of course, he may be a descendant of an immigrant many generations back already, unlike myself.

My family & I went to Crealy Adventure Park Nr Exeter in Devon on 27.10.2010. While my two lovely children were playing in the indoor play area i went for a walk and captured this Canada Goose on the boating lake.

Another one from my session at Cosmeston last month at sun down. She (must be a girl as so pretty) struck a pose for me just nice. Whites on the tail end seem a little burnt out but otherwise came out well - thanks for looking!

A nice often overlooked species of Goose. These are everywhere in Northeast Ohio, so I think most people view them as undesirable. Still a beautifull bird.

I was saving my uploads today, as the Sparrowhawks keep making failed attacks (I think they might need glasses|=)|). But 10 minutes ago a male nicked a Sparrow from the garden, so the garden is quiet ATM. I didn't get any pics, as the Sparrowhawk just swooped in and out. In fact, the Sparrows'...

I don't upload many of these, as to me, they seldom look good in pictures. But sometimes, when the light flatters the plumage, I think they look pretty good in a picture. Anyway, another from yesterday at the Reservoirs.
