Watched this guy for hours at Cape May Point State Park. At one point he was working on the end of a thick branch and couldn't find any food, so he started working his way down the branch. As I watched, he would put his ear to the branch and listen for bugs. Move down, listen, move down...
I believe this is a Carolina Chickadee but honestly I can't tell them apart from the Black-Capped! Anyway, I thought this one with some hair in it's mouth was cute.
