A memory from last year at this day showing a superb displaying bird. At times this bird was too close even for a portrait.

This female actually came too close to the car... and flew before I could fit her all in!!

For a second time I managed to get this wonderful and majestic bird. This time with a client. I think he was pretty happy after a bit of work.

Just returned from a stunning location where I photographed Western Capercaillie. What a bird this is! It is a shame that people still shoot them. I am trying to take there birders and photographers and raise some funds for the local people to hire a guard that would hopefully stop snowmobiles...
