This female cardinal comes to the windows of my great room, and fights with her reflections. She is very angry at the 'other' female for few minutes, then she gives up and flies away.
Caught this male in the same spot as the female on yesterday's post. Although the male is a beautiful bird the female has a more photographic appeal to me. I guess it is because the red in the male is hard for me to get just right.
..sun lit and a bit of fill flash. I liked the triangular frame the branches provided for this shot. Not much for a square crop but seemed to work for this on to get the triangle effect.
Male Northern Cardinal in desert scrub near hotel. I was thrilled to get this because I had never seen one before. I don't get out much.(LOL) and they are not found in BC.
