I never knew that, not until this friendly wren became a regular visitor this winter.

This little Carolina Wren seems to be staring right at me. I hope I was not disturbing his meal.

These two Carolina Wrens got into a spat! It became very confusing to figure our whose leg was whose. Luckily, they seemed to weather the fight undamaged. Why can't we all just get along? I mean, come on fellas, there was plenty of food for all!

Well Peeps, Weve had some of that white stuff overnight, still some small stuff coming down at the moment. Three from our US trip for ya today, stay warm yall.

Another from this set. I got several nice shots.

I set up a berry branch by my feeder, (tied to it, actually) and needless to say, nothing has come. However, as I sat in my blind, this Carolina wren came by and offered some great photo opportunities.

Our State Bird, the Carolina Wren used to be on our license plates. No longer ;( Now it's pure tourism crap.

Was working in the other end of my yard when this Wren kept popping up around me.

Just after a very brief shower this little Wren went to work bathing in the wet leaves.

Saw the leaves moving furiously after a rain storm. Turns out this Wren was taking its own show in the falling drops of rain from the leaves
