Well I've been so very busy with work and the gardens lately and haven't been able to keep up here. I've finally found a few minutes to pop in and thought I'd share this pic from a couple months ago. I had a memorable day with a lovely, large flock of these gorgeous birds. They are such beauties.
Although Cedar Waxwings pass through Orono Bog, as the caption on the photo indicates, this photo was actually taken near my house in a rural area. The bird was a member of a small flock that alighted on a planted Norway spruce tree.
