I think the feed sank into the snow, as it took these guys a while to un... ummm.... unsnow it (is there such a word)!!?

We're getting snow today, even so my lovely little Dunnock was singing his little head off.
From those long dreary days of early winter when we had no sun just dark grey. This was one of the rare days when it actually rained to relieve the boredom!! Hence there's a reflection of the chaffie on the roof!!
I rather liked the simplicity of this picture, so haven't cropped very much away...

This female Chaffinch has that awful fungal growth on her foot. She does seem to be managing fairly well though, as I still see her coming in occasionally (the last time I picked her out was around a week ago).
Here she's feeding with my lovely Dunnock, who has started singing this week.

This female chaffinch is suffering from what looks like papillomavirus which appears to affect only her right foot, though the other foot doesn't look quite right. She gets about well, mixes with a feeding party of chaffinches, and is in good condition other than what looks like a heavy weight...
