Chestnut-capped Blackbird (Chrysomus ruficapillus ruficapillus) Subadult male. Raiding the supplemental feeding station for goats.

I guess we saw them on day 3 as well. I didn't recall that until I saw the picture in my files. There were so many new lifers that "just" another Chestnut-capped Blackbird hardly made an impression.

Now I'll try your patience again, friends, with a pair of not-so-great shots of yet another lifer. Observed very near the Brown-and-yellow marshbirds, but further off and they didn't stay long enough for me to tweek the exposure and get that subtle chestnut-colored chest and cap to show, so...

Male. Refused to turn fully around.

This is the female, she was shy and didn't came out of the twigs.
