    Have I shared this one before? Apologies if so. Earlier that day we saw one actually still showing chestnut-sided breeding plumage. This one, more typically for the migration there, was a juvenile.

    Found this little gem on our outing yesterday with local bird club members. We also found fresh moose tracks in the mud on the trail where we saw this fellow. Did not see moose.

    Her English isn't so good, but she is "pleased, pleased, pleased to meetcha"--at least that is what her song says (actually I think her song is different from the male).
