    It was a good raptor day for me on that mid-June visit for a Marsh Harrier sat in the tree on the far side of the loch after hunting in the marsh on that side. Only a record shot really as it was so distant, but at least you can make out what it is.

  25. Not the best I've seen here ...

    Not the best I've seen here ...

    but the best shot I've taken of a Marsh Harrier so far. This one came barreling towards us over a hedge. We had more distant views of this one and (probably) its mate several times, but this one close encounter got me a shot that made my day.
