    I saw them a few times before, but always high up in a tree top. Today I was a little more lucky. The bird was still far away (about 30 meters), but I could peek through the bushes with high magnification. Ill be back ;)

    Today there were 5 of them arround feeders. They were all more jumpy then usual so I have no steady photo during proper light conditions. I like the dandelions in the background, slightly distorted by window glass.

    In this time of year the majority of birds on feeders are yougsters. This one stayed for long. He must have been very houngry.

    I thought that this my very first female Hawfinch photo...But she looks very pale to me, comapring to pictures in books. So I asked forum people: Is this spring colouring or what? Ivica kindly explained that this is a yung one! Thanks Ivica!
